Science Rooted in Curiosity

It all began with a simple question: What makes soil alive? From there, our children explored concepts like pH, nutrient cycles, and biodiversity. Using microscopes, sensors, and field observations, they began to understand that soil isn鈥檛 just dirt鈥攊t鈥檚 a living, breathing ecosystem. The process wasn鈥檛 about memorizing facts鈥攊t was about testing ideas, analyzing patterns, and thinking like scientists.

Technology with a Real-World Impact

With the support of educators and visiting experts, children designed tools to support their work鈥攃oding time-lapse cameras, building Arduino moisture sensors, and even prototyping automatic watering systems. These weren鈥檛 just exercises in robotics鈥攖hey were solutions to real environmental needs, developed by children who saw a challenge and wanted to help.

A Space for Empathy, Expression, and Growth

Though rooted in science and technology, the Rewilding Space is also a reflection of our values: collaboration, creativity, and community. Children worked in small groups, supported by educators who guided their ideas rather than gave answers. They also brought in art and reflection, finding beauty in the unexpected鈥攆rom bricks and roots to relationships and process. As one child shared, 鈥淲hen you really get to know something鈥攐r someone鈥攜ou find something beautiful in them.鈥�

Each year, the highlight of the festival is the Elephant Trunk Awards鈥攐ur very own children’s choice book award. After weeks of reading and exploring a curated shortlist, children cast their votes for their favourite titles. These awards reflect the stories that made them laugh, think, wonder, and feel inspired.

At 黑料网, drama is more than just performance. It offers children the chance to explore voice, character, and movement in a way that builds confidence and encourages teamwork. Whether delivering lines, moving across the stage, or supporting one another behind the scenes, our children learned through doing鈥攁nd discovered just how much they could achieve together.

What made the evening even more special was the sense of community that filled the theatre. Families, alumni, and staff gathered to support the children and reconnect with one another. There was laughter, conversation, and a warm sense of being together. These shared moments remind us how important our community is to all that we do at 黑料网.

We are truly grateful to our families and educators for their support, encouragement, and care throughout this journey. These events are only possible with your presence and partnership.

To our young performers: thank you for your courage, your effort, and your joy. You brought Sherwood Forest to life in the most memorable way.

From crafting a classical Thai mask to tasting some homemade Italian gelato, from performing a UK Morris Dance to making their own Indian 鈥榬otis鈥� 鈥� the children had a wonderful time at our 黑料网 kindergarten in Bangkok! We have a wonderful Christmas Market with a range of vendors, including local charities and social enterprises, set up at the front of our 黑料网 school. The remaining dates for you to buy some lovely holiday gifts are Friday 24th November and Thursday 7th December, before and after the Christmas performances of the Kindergarten children and Y3-6 children respectively, from 7.30-10.00 am. We look forward to seeing you as the festive excitement commences.
