Happy Loy Krathong!

Here at ºÚÁÏÍø we celebrated the ancient festival of Loy Krathong altogether, bringing this year’s long monsoon season to a close. It is one of the most beautiful and picturesque festivals in Thailand where the waterways come alive with flickering lights as people gather together to float their Krathong, to let go of misfortunes or bad luck, express gratitude, and look to new beginnings. Our Y6 children gave a beautiful Thai musical performance with the drum and khim followed by our Y3 children who elegantly performed traditional Thai dances. K1 children began the finale, the Rum Won Loy dance and Loy Krathong song, with all the children joining in the celebrations. We wish all our ºÚÁÏÍø families a joyous Loy Krathong!
